Saccardo Constructions has been part of South Australia's building and construction industry for 4 decades. Late in 1956, four brothers emigrated to Adelaide from Italy and laid the foundations for what is now the Saccardo group of companies. Utilising the skills learned in the old country, they slowly built a company that now specialises in all aspects of the concrete contracting industry. After leaving a legacy of concrete structures - many well known on the South Australian landscape - the founders are now reaping their rewards in retirement, handing the baton to a younger generation who have by way of dedication, expertise and modern management procedures grown the company into one of the leading concrete contractors in Australia.

		Adrian Saccardo heads the Administration and Contract Management of the company. Adrian has followed his father into the family business, adding new skills by obtaining both a Business Management and Building Technology Diploma. Taking over the helm of the company in 1979 he has been steadily growing the firm until now it is one of the top major companies in the Large Commercial and Industrial sector.

		Morrie Rescignano gained his Diploma of Teaching and Bachelor of Education before joining the administration staff at Saccardo Constructions in 1987. Following extensive in-house training, Morrie now heads the estimating and purchasing departments of the company. Morrie also controls the maintenance staff who keep the comprehensive vehicle and equipment fleet in top condition.

Of course, the 'backbone' of Saccardo Constructions is more than just the expertise and experience of its principals. Saccardo Constructions' success is particularly derived from its large and highly multi-skilled work force. Most of Saccardo Constructions' employees each have over 25 years experience in the daily placement and finishing of concrete. New techniques and machinery are constantly added to supplement their vast experience, enabling them to place large meterage of concrete to exceptionally high quality and fine tolerance parameters.
